The King support Mette-Marit and her India tour

King Harald understands that Crown Princess Mette-Marit went to India to look after two surrogate infant children to a gay Norwegian couple, but he also understands the criticism that wasdirected at her.

- Humanly speaking I understand Mette-Marit, says King Harald to NRK.

He says that he also understands the criticism against her.

- I can understand those who might have problems with the Crown Princess of Norway travel there. So I'm on both sides, says the King.

The King added that Mette-Marit has his support.

- She always has, he says.

It was in October that Crown Princess Mette-Marit on her own went to India to look after two newborn twins who were born to a surrogate mother. The twins are the children of a gay couple who are friends of the Royals.
