Crown Princess Mette-Marit is among the keynote speakers at a high level meeting in UN General Assembly in New York on Monday.
Together with UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and UN President John Ashe, will the Norwegian crown princess stand for the opening of the conference "Human Rights and the Rule of Law in the Post-2015 Development Agenda, reports the Royal Castle.
The main objective of the conference is to establish a platform for the member countries, UN agencies, civil society, major groups and other stakeholders to determine how human rights and legal safeguards are used at a national and international level to improve development.
Tuesday 10 June, will Crown Princess Mette-Marit receive amfAR Award of Inspiration The Inspiration Gala in New York.
